Week 3

The camry is in the shop for the next two days so we got a rental car to drive meanwhile. I remember waking up at 8 am to drive my dad to work this morning pretty pumped to drive a new car. When I saw it was a prius I was even more excited. Who wouldn't be, hybrid, save the earth, that sort of thing. The excitment was short lived. The prius is a huge bitch. It doesn't accelerate for shit. Hell I was on the highway this morning and got bitched by this car.

Okay so maybe the person couldn't have picked the car up, but you get the idea. The prius is for old people and maybe asian drivers. I hate that stereotype but after seeing my mom drive I am forced to accept it may be true.

Last weeks lifts were pretty solid.
Military Press: 145x8 (Probably could've gotten 9 but I hit my chin on the way up which fucked me mentally and momentum wise)
Deadlift: 260x13 (Really fucking easy. I did these slow and with total control.)
Bench: 225x9 (Had a little gas in the tank after. Emphasis on very little. But it wasn't a lift till failure which is encouraging)
Squat: 285x8 (Definitely could've done at the very least one more, but the bar was slipping down my back forcing my shoulder back so I racked it out of fear of eating shit with no spotter.)

I'm excited, this gives me calculated 1RPM of
Military Press: 184
Deadlift: 372
Bench: 292
Squat: 361
Of course I'm aware these are calculated, and that until I actually lift these weights they're not actually my 1rpm and that the higher the reps the less accurate the formula so lets not turn this into a youtube comments section. But still looking at these numbers is real encouraging. Now onto week 3 of the 531. Bring on the heavy weights.
